4WD Supacentre changes Adventure Kings prices often, and a price on its own does not tell you much. This site keeps the history and tells you whether today’s price is a good one, judged against what that item has actually sold for.
It is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Adventure Kings, 4WD Supacentre or Outdoor Supacentre Pty Ltd.
How prices are collected
- Every product in the 4WD Supacentre catalogue — currently 4,972 — is checked every six hours from the store’s publicly available product data.
- A price is recorded whenever it changes, and the full history is kept. We have been recording since 7 September 2026.
- “Usual” prices are weighted by how long each price was held, so a price that stood for months counts for more than one that lasted an afternoon.
- Prices can be a few hours out of date. Always confirm the price on the retailer’s site before you buy.
How we call a price good or bad
Every product is judged only against its own price history, never against the retailer’s “was” price.
- Lowest price we’ve seen: today’s price is the cheapest we have recorded for it.
- Good price: it is at or below its usual sale price, or it has cost more than this at least 80% of the time.
- Bad price: it is at its regular price when it regularly goes on sale, or it has been cheaper than this at least half the time. Waiting for the next sale is likely to pay off.
- Normal price: anything in between, or a product whose price has never changed.
- Too new to call: we need 14 days of history before we judge a price.
A product’s regular price is the one it has held for longest, and its usual sale price is the price below that it has held for longest.
A verdict is a reading of the record, not a promise about the next sale. Kings can always go lower than it ever has.
What we don’t do
We don’t publish voucher codes, and the order products appear in is never for sale.
